I first heard this song when I was 15, and I instantly fell madly in love with it. Its brisk rhythm and powerful lyrics captivated me completely. Somehow, this song infused me with a profound sense of womanly strength and empowerment.

I really love the music video for "You da One." The black-and-white colorless scenes can still portray the soft beauty and tension of a woman. Along with the perfect light and shadow changes, Rihanna looks like such a confident and powerful woman in the video. I really appreciate the strength she conveys to the audience.
